It is nice to see someone thinking so easily about others! [Even if Gyatso doesn't 100% want to go home. He'd miss Meryl and his other friends.]

The story of mistletoe is one that I, too, would enjoy hearing. If someone does answer you, perhaps you could share it?

Ah, well... I think I'd be happier knowing everyone was happy, that's all. [Though she'd miss the friends she's made in disco, too. Hnnn decisions.]

Oh, absolutely! We do have mistletoe back home, but it's not used like this, so I'm very intrigued!

[Gyatso knows that he dies soon after the time he was taken from, as do the rest of the people... but it would be nice to see all his "family" back home one more time. And he needs to be there until the end.

Of course! Being happy is important.

As am I. It is causing some amusing moments!

[... if he tells Cynthia that, she might as well try to find a way to go to his world and stop this. ;w;]

It is! Although I would miss some of the people I met here.

Amusing moments? Like what?

In my world, people once believed that a sprig of mistletoe hung over the doorway would prevent people with evil intentions from entering the house and ward off sickness from the household. They believed that it prevented lightning strikes as well.

Oh, really? Was there some kind of legend concerning mistletoe and its supernatural abilities? I mean, there must be a reason why people once believed that, right?

Many different legends. Different peoples each had their own stories about it, and the stories often changed over time. The druids, for example, would go out on the sixth night of the moon and cut the mistletoe from an oak tree with a golden sickle. They said that the mistletoe was the soul of the Oak. And the Oak was the King of all trees.

The soul of the Oak... That really does sound like a wonderful legend! I think I'll never look at mistletoe the same way again.
