...I kinda wonder if poly just lends itself well to nonromantic folken, or whether that's just in the circles I travel in.

Hm, that would make sense. Not having grown up buying all the Disney noise about Prince Charming and One True Love and all would prolly make it a lot easier to shake things like monoganormativity.
