[Another big clue that he's an imaginary friend. Grinning, Slugger chucks the paper into the air and hits it with his bat, sending it flying onto the rooftop of the house where it was supposed to be delivered.]

[His grin just gets wider and wider; it's hard to tell exactly what he means by this but his shadowy appearance might suggest something sinister. Hefting the bag of newspapers onto his shoulder again, he continues down the sidewalk contemplating how he should deliver the next one.]
