Stephanie still wasn't sure what to think about everything that had gone on the last couple of days; Tony's most recent message was a relief, but the 'long story' part was cause for a little side-eyeing at least, right? She was just so lucky he could find her that way. And had showered before he left his lab.

"The view's better up here," Stephanie replied, scooting over a little to make room for him. Oh, and to try and get some feeling back into her butt.

The view from the fire escape was spectacularly boring, but she couldn't quite look at him yet; she was kind of afraid he'd be glaring at her or something.

"When I look back at my life so far," because this was a life that included things like an elementary school megalomaniacal genius who tried to conquer the world with his collection of toys, "I can't say it would be outside of the realm of typically weird occurrences."

Stephanie sighed and ran a hand through her hair, then glanced at him for a moment. "So yes, I'd believe you. Did it?"

She wasn't trying to sound accusing. She honestly couldn't be sure.
