I am very happy about the positive response Amuse-Bouche has received, and one of the people who commented on the story, laceymcbain, mentioned that a friend of hers, privatetentacle, had drafted some excellent haikus inspired by the story. I'm reposting these haikus with their permission here, because they are utterly delightful.

The lateral and
medial malleolus,
they stabilize me.

I love your ankles:
Oh, thinly skinned boney arch
how I long to touch ...
