Castiel sat quietly, legs crossed on the floor by the fire at Bobby's. He wasn't sure why he was even there, but Dean had phoned him and asked him to come. So he did as he always did and arrived moments later. He really needed to work on his ability to say no to Dean Winchester, he was just thinking when the man himself walked in from the kitchen carrying something Cas couldn't make out in the near darkness

"This is nice" he said even more softly as he took a mouthful of hot cocoa and sighed. It really was very good, the dark drink in front of him. But he hadn't been talking about the cocoa. He had meant having Dean so close beside him, the fire, Christmas, having someone what to spend it with him. It was all just really... nice
