For one, get the previous teacher's possessions out, and secondly make it look less like a Bazaar, Miss-?

Oh, um... Ainsworth! Cassie.

What's wrong with the room looking like a bazaar? I think it's lovely as it is.

A pleasure, Miss Ainsworth.

I feel it distracts from the subject matter at hand leading to very stereotypical feelings about Divination. There is more to the subject then looking into a crystal ball or seeing the winning lotto numbers in a watering bowl.

Sooo are you going to teach us to look up really specific things about the future?

Depends on the number of years you have been in Divination, what you mean by 'really specific', and how far are you willing to go to find out.

Er. I'm in 4th year, so a year and a half, about.

And to name a really, REALLY nonspecific amount of time...72 hours into the future?

Theomancy and Chronomancy to try and get that 'nonspecific amount of time'- I am sure you have already gone of the basic in theory description of both of those.

For a year and a half student, I would suggest using the following techniques:

Acultomancy, botanomancy- although I am not too positive that had been covered to use capnomancy which is more vague but I am sure you have been taught. stichomancy with books relative to whatever you're interested in, plumbomancy and some Arithmancy. Those combine could create a vague picture.

For more of the detailed images you would have to use deuteroscopy, lots, retromancy and transataumancy.
