Mein Gott, I'm glad that's over. This dust is going to take hours to clean... I'll get to that right after I finish this experiment...

I must thank you again for your help, Tegar'in. I've had some progress with these materials you provided. I believe one particular plant has quite a bit of potential.

However, I'm still going to need someone else to ( Read more... )

I think I'm better off staying out of this.

Considering your current track record, I think I'm going to have to agree.

Glad to help. I admit I am a little curious as to the end result, but I fear that's about the only help I'm good for--my odd biology would no doubt make me a poor test subject. Best of luck to you!

Yes, it can be quite fascinating. You never know what to expect within the mind, it's constantly growing and changing...

It's completely possible for a non-human entity to use the tumbler, but I suppose the design isn't exactly very comfortable. Danke, hopefully it will be a success.

not very nice, prying into minds.

I'm hardly prying. Telepathy is not something to be abused, and neither is the brain tumbler. I'm merely interested in whether or not the machine will work with non-psychics as well.

What exactly would you be trying?

The brain tumbler is a device which creates a deep trance, allowing the subject to explore the contents of their dreams with control and without interruption. Previously, I had been using a mineral known as psitanium to cause the trance, which can also cause horrible brain damage and insanity to non-psychics. However, I have obtained alternative materials and want to see if they are as effective despite not having quite as many negative side-effects.

And since everyone seems so sure I plan on invading their privacy, no, I'm not interested in your personal memories, I just want to make sure this thing works for when someone does need to know.

Really? Sounds interesting.

You wouldn't be able to see my personal memories anyway.

Yes, it is quite fascinating.

Then I see no issue there. This is assuming you are a 'regular', unaltered human of some sort?

Well, I wouldn't really mind if nobody else comes along. I'm not a psychic, but I can handle a little dizziness.

Oh, does it matter that I'm part cat?

Thank you, I appreciate your help. Don't worry, I've already tested the materials myself, there shouldn't be any dangerous side-effects.

Ah, I don't think it would.

Alright, glad I could be of help!

So... what should I do?

All you need to do is sit infront of the machine and perhaps check your mind, make sure there aren't any unnatural effects... It's kind of like dreaming, really. When should I expect you?
