But I don't detect anything restraining my powers. In fact, there isn't even a trace of psitanium here... Compelling. And I sense other people nearby. Perhaps someone could explain this to me?

You're in a place called Wonderland. Not exactly the same place described in the Carroll novel, but we do have a Queen of Hearts among other characters that you need to look out for.

Leaving is just about impossible. People have managed it, but no one knows how. Actually the mansion tries very hard to be accommodating...the kitchen is always stocked and the closets and vendors out back provide everything you could need.

Machines? I can only track people by their thoughts, so I highly doubt I'd be able to sense a machine. No matter how advanced they may be, robots don't think. Why do you ask?
