I do not think the death's of Michael Jackson, David Carradine, Farrah Fawcett, and Ed McMahon are terribly notable or worth devoting valuable news time and coverage too. There are MUCH more important things going on than to pay homage to a few celebrities. They died after living luxuriously for many years. I feel no pity for them. They may all ( Read more... )

For the most part I agree with you. I think the celebrities should get a bit of coverage, but not hours upon days upon weeks. Our society is fixated upon celebrities, money, power, looks, and glamour. It's kind of disgusting and shallow, but hey I read the gossip websites sometimes so I'm just a big HIPPOcrite. Although, Farrah Fawcett died a very slow and painful death, unlike the rest of them. She is so beautiful and brave. RIP FARRAH!
