Beer is quickly becoming a staple of my diet here in Japan. That's not to say that I'm becoming alcoholic by any stretch of the word, but I do enjoy drinking now, whereas before I came here I wouldn't really even consider drinking.
Yeah, I am fine with it but I don't think I ever want to buy alcohol and drink it by myself. That would be going to far, but it's a fun time to go out and drink to a point of tipsyness. For you that's a few pints, me a few gallons. I don't go drinking much because the last two times I drank constantly for two hours and failed to get even tipsy. I need to either not eat beforehand (bad plan) or drink the strongest drinks any place may have.
