Writing an introduction should be simple. The obvious things such as name, appearance, occupation, where one lives and all of those facts that immediately come to mind spring forward when that topic is presented

As a son who had t be a caregiver (by choice, not obligation) to my father the last five years of his life... now 8 years removed. I fully understand a lot of the transition feelings you must be going through. It gets harder and easier and I'll look forward to your thoughts via prompts or any other thoughts present to you through prompts. It's nice to see someone so content and yet struggling, It's usually the other way around.

I think....that half the battle is doing it anyway. I never know what to write about, and this is why I usually don't -- it's hard to get what I want to say...out. Not so much finding words, but the -right- words, and put them together in the -right- way.
I'm glad that you are happy with your life, and glad that you have grown (even if it wasn't always because of happy things).
I look forward to reading you and yours, to see where the rabbit hole leads you.
At the risk of being cliché, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. haha. Yes, finding the right words in the right way is a challenge. But the process is half the fun.
Oh, no worries on being cliché, especially when it's true...at least, most of the time. It will always be the most interesting part of the process, to be sure, but also frustrating. I almost always see something I'd rather say in a different way, but...if I continued with that, I'd never keep anything at all!
