I am so sorry about Amanda. What a horrible thing to happen. Who knows what woke you up? Some things just can't be explained. Living with a mentally ill mother and a new (and young) stepmother can't have been easy, and it's too bad for Amanda's sake that the stepmother couldn't handle your friendship with Amanda or her husband.

Michelle was young and insecure. She had her own set of issues so in hindsight I guess I get why she ocouldn't handle Richard's and my friendship. They have since divorced and I've lost touch with all of theem. It was certainly a difficult time. Thanks so much for reading!
