I click on the web page and pull up my retirement accounts. Can I afford to retire in two years? I mentally calculate expenses and figure in the increases which will most likely occur. With a heavy sigh I log off. Six more years unless I just can’t do it anymore

It's worth it. If anything, the French vote today kinda validates the push back--the nationalism is not getting as much traction as it had hoped. I hope you'll keep fighting, and thanks for the battle cry.

I will not surrender either! There is too much at stake. I'll be thinking of you as you go to your protest. It's harder for me to make such big trips, but I have offered to help the local Democratic Party distribute get-out-the-vote flyers ahead of next week's primary.
