I gave a dime to a girl my freshman year of high school so she could use the pay phone. Flash forward to senior year, graduation rehearsal, and she's chasing me down the hallway so she could give pay me back that dime, haha.

Haha. Very cute. So was he going into witness protection or was this his final act before leaving the planet?

ETA: Richard Thomas is currently on Broadway, and was nominated for a Tony Award for this season's The Little Foxes which also stars Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon, both of whom were also nominated.

Maybe Dave was doing the L Ron Hubbard thing and he'll take off in a flying saucer and then dump into the ocean and wash up in California! hahaha.

I saw Richard Thomas many years ago in a play at the Williamstown Theatre festival. Didn't know he was doing so well. Go John Boy!
