It's apparently a good year for tiny changes ...

Just added two downloadable TrueType fonts to the ClaWrite page. (One of which is by ceruleanst - yay!)

This is a small change, but a big deal, because it's the first time I've actually managed to get a Windows-usable version of ClaWrite out to the public in um ... 14 years.I'm sure this has nothing at all ( Read more... )

That's nifty. I skimmed over the language description, then went to the poem, and was able to actually READ it by the second or third stanza. It took some effort, so I haven't finished it, but it's not actually difficult.

I remember trying to create a ClaWrite TTF a decade ago. The tools I had at the time weren't up to it, so I settled on writing a dragon code decoder instead, which, to the best of my knowledge, was used by a total of one person. Ah, memories.

(The retro NEW icon is fantastic. It's refreshing to see one of those that doesn't mean "NEW in 1997!")

Yay! Glad you like the icon. I actually designed it back in the 90s, but it has worn its age well. :)

(And thanks for mentioning it -- I hadn't noticed that it was still there attached to one of the non-new fonts. I updated that section to fix the "new" listings.)

I remember the dragon code decoder! It was a great tool for its time. Alas, sig codes have gone the way of Usenet ...
