Job-hunting

I applied for this job at the Humane Society of Silicon Valley (basically assessing dogs' and cats' suitability for adoption, and training them to make them more adoptable) and I feel absolutely sick about it.  I would LOVE to have a job like this.  It plays to all of my strengths.  I don't have the certification they want, or probably as much dog ( Read more... )

I would be glad to be a reference if you need one. You are punctual, well organized, customer focused, thoughtful, knowledgable, and creative. You would be an asset to their organization and I'd be glad to tell them that. Please see yourself as others see you - you're really good at what you do...

Thanks. I might take you up on that, although I do have a lot of folks who would give me good references. It's nice to hear it from someone who doesn't know me that well, though.

I think you are well qualified! Even if you're not certified, you have a lot of education and experience. When I've heard you talk about animal training it's obvious you know your stuff. Good luck!
