Psycho Parrot, Qu'est-ce Que C'est?
The one crazy Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde parrot that I sit for bit the crap out of my hand again.
I feel pretty much like a failure whenever I let an animal bite me.
But then I remember that one of my EATM professors got bit in the ass by a mountain lion, and he's still workin'. :-) -
I almost came home with a puppy today
As I was walking an adorable little pug today, we met an equally adorable little pit bull puppy. No collar, no leash, no visible owners, but friendly as all get-out. I am going way overboard on the Superbowl food. :-) I haven't bought anything yet, but here is what I *want* to do. Superbowl Grub
We are going to have beer-battered brats to represent my home state, and we're going to have potato and cheese pierogies to represent Tim's home state.
Anyone know where we can get some good, fresh (not frozen) pierogies in the bay area?
Other food will include:
homemade turkey chili
meatballs (brought by a friend)
nachos

Knee Trouble
So, whenever I get in my 10,000 steps, my knees start bothering me. And lately, since I've been getting them in almost daily, my knees don't stop bothering me on the days I don't. In fact, they hurt right now, and I've only walked about 4k steps so far today ( Read more... ) -

Raw Diet Update
The raw diet is still working out very well with the cats. All three of them prefer it to kibble, but all three will take kibble if I offer it, too. The odd thing is they all turn their noses up at canned wet food now ( Read more... ) -
