The Studly Husband is doing great after the "surprise" open heart surgery. The store is doing great. I have more work in design than I can actually accomplish and I have the luxury of picking and choosing what jobs I want to take.

Next week I go to the dentist. Yay!

This morning we had a live radio broadcast from the store! Petch and Paula from Eagle 97-7 came by and did their whole morning show from the shop and it was awesome fun. In the several weeks that have passed since I last had anything to say here, the Studly Husband was admitted into the hospital for emergency triple bypass surgery. He went in for a cardiac catheterization and they took one look and told us they wanted to keep him. He has now been home for 3 days ( Read more... )

Today and yesterday the Studly Husband and I got to spend all morning at the beach. We were trying to remember the last time we actually got to go to the beach two days in a row, and it was at least two years ago, maybe three. What a delight! I've caught the disease.

My cat licked me today and I looked at him and said, "I HAS A FLAVOR."

A lot has transpired in the last few weeks since I posted.

I did successfully get through the semester and officially have one class left before I graduate. It's Sacred Geometry, so the anthropologist in me is all in a kerfuffle with anticipation.
