Good morning, fellow citizens of Middle-earth! I'm so excited that Hobbit Week is here! It feels like I've been waiting an age for The Hobbit to arrive. Here's something to help us celebrate hobbit culture as we prepare for Bilbo's arrival.

I'm counting down this week, too, and me and the geek next door have already bought our tickets. My husband is coming along, although he doesn't really care about it.

Tickets in hand. Sadly, we're all too old to do it at the midnight showing, but we're hitting it Friday afternoon. I had to take a vacation day because apparently Hobbit Day is not an international holiday as it should be.
