Allergies, etc.

Ugh, my right eye is dripping, yes, dripping. I am out of my mind right now. I just took my second dose of Tylenol Sinus--here's hoping. I woke up last night at 3:30 with a headache and the idea that I should start the coffee and get in some reading before Devlin wakes up, but it was 3:30. I made the mistake of trimming back the damn wisteria that ( Read more... )

Well the great thing is you can't ever get a brain tumor because you have no brains.
Seriously though, I hope everything turns out ok, I'll be thinking of you.
When you're done with Light Years, I'm going to lend you Richard Yates' Liars in Love. It's a collection of short stories that are just tremendous.
I'm curious about the rat book. I don't see as many rats (4 legged variety) in the city these days, the ratters must be doing their job.

I can't believe Devlin is just a couple months short of his first birthday, amazing, we have to see the little guy soon.

Thanks, pal. It will be fine. I feel perfectly fine, so there is no need for any kind of intervention. I just have to establish myself with this brain surgeon (what a joke) so that he can keep an eye on it. I hear you on the allergies thing. Apparently Maryland is Allergy Central, so I'm really suffering. Plus, I'm just getting over an upper respiratory infection, so you can imagine the phlegm involved. (Ew...)

What's with this osteophyte? Do you HAVE to have surgery? Are there any alternative therapies? I'll be sending good thoughts your way. Next time I'm up in Jersey, I can give you a good Reiki session (couldn't hurt!).

Freakin' pollen. . .

No, I don't have to have surgery. I think it is just something that has to be monitored. I have no pain, so there is no need to address it surgically. I refuse to have surgery. I think these osteophytes are just part of the beauty of aging. Reiki works for me--thanks!
