So they are called cat birds because their calls resemble a cat? I'm not teasing I want to know.

Yes, they actually make cat sounds. Such handsome birds. . .

Her last day was today and it was so anti climatic, no real goodbye from roy she just shut her office door for the last time and she was gone.
I think Connie is going to try to find a job straight away. I wish she would take the summer off and hang with her kids and get some rest. The last 6 months were really hard on her. Corporations suck, she ,honestly, put her life on hold for that company and they just sacked her last thursday. . She was in tears, I felt bad that she had given so much and they just showed her the door. I realize that it really doesn't matter how hard you work, they'll screw you when they think they have to. Everything comes to an end.

Poor Connie. I feel for her, I do. She's a good person who certainly deserves better treatment than that. Sadly, this kind of crap is typical. Even the not-for-profit companies suck. My sister worked for Children's Television Workshop (Sesame Street), and it was the worst place she ever worked at--oh, the stories, including one about darling Rosie O'Donnell forcing my sister to interview her brother for a position that he had zero qualifications for, etc. They fired an old woman and a guy with AIDs. It was a nightmare and every person there was miserable.
