hour string of commercials.
Say, did you guys get your hands on those tickets?

Nah, we didn't get the tickets...the team decided that tickets to all Yankees games - including opening day - are at such a high demand that they're not being sold along with the other games. They're doing a random drawing, so being "first in line" doesn't increase your chances. I still think my idea to use the TTY number was brilliant, but unfortunately it won't help in this case. It's just the luck of the draw.

I hope my number comes up.

Of course you could help my chances by signing up for the random drawing, too, and buying the tickets for me (with my money, of course) if you win. In fact, maybe I'll make an entry about that and try to recruit all my LJ friends...
