So. I made jam today. A lot of jam. A lot a lot of jam. I needed to get rid of 4 pints of strawberries and a lot of rhubarb. (Unspecified amounts, I really don't know how much.) Tadlet and I hulled and chopped strawberries, and I chopped rhubarb. And washed a /lot/ of dishes and jars

I'm told, however, that the butter makes it a little less long lived even if canned properly. Just something to keep in mind. And it's not too fussy to do the canning right but you do need a big enough pot to boil your jars.
