Describe your personality: Whenever I try to describe my personality myself, I keep constantly editing it and if I post it, I'm like "oh damn I forgot to add that" and all that jazz. Therefore, I'll just copypaste a part of descriptions of an Analytical Thinker and an INFJ, two personality types I am. I think overall they fit me pretty well.
Analytical Thinker:
Analytical Thinkers are reserved, quiet persons. They like to get to the bottom of things - curiosity is one of their strongest motives. They want to know what holds the world together deep down inside. They do not really need much more to be happy because they are modest persons. Many mathematicians, philosophers and scientists belong to this type. Analytical Thinkers loathe contradictions and illogicalness; with their sharp intellect, they quickly and comprehensively grasp patterns, principles and structures. They are particularly interested in the fundamental nature of things and theoretical findings; for them, it is not necessarily a question of translating these into practical acts or in sharing their considerations with others. Analytical Thinkers like to work alone; their ability to concentrate is more marked than that of all other personality types. They are open for and interested in new information.
INFJ [Introverted, iNtuition, Feeling, Judging]:
INFJs tend to be sensitive, quiet leaders with a great depth of personality. They are intricately and deeply woven, mysterious, and highly complex, sometimes puzzling even to themselves. They have an orderly view toward the world, but are internally arranged in a complex way that only they could understand. Abstract in communicating, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. With a natural affinity for art, INFJs tend to be creative and easily inspired. Yet they may also do well in the sciences, aided by their intuition.
Postive and negative traits you have: Positive: Imaginative, eccentric, sweet, smart, polite, nice, weird, insane, geeky, not competitive, private, observing, easily amused, curious but not nosy, good at English, good drawer/writer.
Negative: Paranoid, worrisome, loner, reserved, lazy, procrastinator, awkward, introverted, bitter, resentful, snarky, quiet, anti-social, forgetful, cautious, emotionally moody, sensitive, easily offended/hurt, socially uncomfortable, anxious, focuses on fantasy more than reality, avoidant, easily startled, easily annoyed, easily distracted.
What do you consider to be some of your worst fears? Elevators, things that are thrown at me, pain, death [or more accurately, what happens after death], spiders [I'm more afraid of spiders inside the house than outdoors], heights, confined spaces, darkness [mainly because I'm paranoid and I have wild imagination so I imagine a lot of creepy stuff there, and then I'm afraid of the things I imagine in the darkness, and not the darkness itself], places which have a lot of people there, fainting and mirrors during nighttime.
Favourites (colour, food, music, etc.): Color: Orange.
Food: Minced meat soup and fajitas.
Music: The Killers, The Baseballs, Kaiser Chiefs.
THIS OR THAT: (there's room for both in some cases)
Love or Hate ( which do you find you do more of): Neither, really. I'm more of the caring/despising type.
Determined or Accepting: It depends. Usually I'm a bit more of the accepting type, but if I have to accept something I don't like, it shows.
Making your own Destiny or Accepting Fate: Even though I'm more of the type that accepts their fate, I believe it's still possible to make your own destiny, as long as you're determined enough.
Brave or Safe: Safe. I wish I was braver.
Pacifist or Tempermental: Temperamental. I have a pretty bad temper, though usually I don't stay mad long and I'm able to hide it well, and only snap to certain people who I know won't mind. Most of my temper shows when I'm alone, muttering to myself.
Quiet or outspoken? Quiet, but more in a reserved way than shy way. I can be pretty outspoken if the subject is something I obsess over.
Forgiving or vengeful? Forgiving, but bitter.
Leader or follower? I dislike being in charge and being responsible for other people's actions, so you can't really call me a leader; however, if I'm told to do something [not asked to, but told I have to do it], I'll be really reluctant to do it and/or if the leader's a total jerk, I'm gonna rebel more or less. But I guess I'm bit more of a follower, though I can't imagine any leader wanting to pick me on their team.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I have absolutely no idea why, but ever since I was ten years old I've wanted to live in London.
Anything else you'd like to add? Hmm, I don't think so. Thanks for looking at my application, and please, do not sheepvote!
