So, being the deprived child that I am, I figured today should be documented. *grins*

I'm always goofing with my mom about how her hermit/anti-social tendencies deprived me as a child because until I got my license I barely ever left the state. Her aversion to driving anywhere that wasn't ten minutes away definitely limited my experiences as a kid

That just sounds so stereo-typical "American" to me, like something I'd see on TV but never thought people really did. Pumpkin picking? Sounds like a great way to spend a day.

Lol, honestly? I kinda felt the same. I live in the city, grew up in the city (where there are no farms *snort*), I'm just so used to this kind of environment I pretty much made a face at the idea.. at first. lol But I guess they're right when they say you never know unless you try, 'cause I did have fun.

I went with my mom, her boyfriend, and his family, so it was kind of weird seeing how they live around farms and what not so they were used to it.. I was joking that the little two year old that went with us had more experience than I did lol

And it was a nice day, so it was worth it :)

It was actually kinda funny, but a cool day. I can't see myself doing that kind of thing all the time lol but once a year.. or maybe once every five years lol.. that'd be okay :P
