Thanks for this hun, U wrote my bigbigbang at campnano in the summer and it practically wrote itself but im struggling now to get going on my nano now. Maybe i should scrap doing original fic and go back to fandom again!

Yeah, there is some advantage doing a fanfic, like you can work with tested characters and clichés. But in an original fic it's up to you to warm up your characters to the readers.
