[Fic] Torn love of the painted kimono (3/?)
Kyoto
It was a two hours train ride, and Jin starting to get bored sitting next to the boy, who was looking out from the window. Somehow, Jin found the boy quite pretty. The jawline was firm, the nose was meant to fit with his face and those luscious lips were pink and pouty which it look perfect on the boy. Jin bit his lips tapping the boy’s shoulder for attention.
“Ne~”
“What!” Kazuya said in annoyance.
“Aren’t you bored?” the man asked. “Because you look like one!”
“What kind of question is that!” the boy asked.
“Well, it’s obviously a two hours ride and you look bored! Did you forget to bring your ipod along or you just forgotten to charge it?”
“Are making fun of me?”
“NO! But if you did, I willing to share it with you?” Jin shrugged.
“Thanks but no thanks!”
Jin just shrugged looking away from the boy. But remembering those stealing glimpse he had. Jin felt he can’t get rid of those image and sighed after hearing the PPA announce the train will arrive in an hour.

“Where are we, exactly?” Jin frowned looking at the old traditional Japanese house standing right in front of him. “Aren’t we supposed to stay in the hotel? What’s with the old house?”
“Since we’re in Kyoto, I wouldn’t want to spend the money on a fancy hotel. I thought of staying here, since this is my parent’s villa, and it didn’t even cost me a cent!” Kazuya said it proudly.
“Well, yeah… But isn’t it better if it’s a hotel…” Jin suggested.
“… Then would you like if the hotel is full and we are stuck in one room. As it always shone in dramas?” Kazuya said sarcastically.
“Hell no!” Jin shouted.
“I doubt you would say that!” the boy snickers as he open the wooden gate and was greeted by an old man.
“Welcome…” greeted the old man. Kazuya smiled after being greeted by his family butler.
“Sylvester-san! What are you doing here?” he said happily.
“Well, I’m here to cleaning up the villa. Since it been two years your family last visited this place. But I’m glad to see you here!” the butler smiled. “Come in!”
The butler step aside letting in two young man into the villa as he guide them to the living room.
Jin look at the architecture it was old and it could broke down anytime soon. But the garden was breath taking. There’s a fountain in the center and the rest were rose’s bushes. Jin back at the butler’s back and strangely he found it so familiar, even the face.
“This way Kazuya-sama!” said the butler.
They walked in to the entrance taking for the shoes. Kazuya breathe in the fragrance of lavender and rose and how he miss this place.
“Your room is set, Kazuya-sama!” bowed the butler.
“Thank you, Sylvester-san.” He smiled at the butler. The butler looked over his master shoulders and frowned.
“Kazuya-sama… who is that friend of yours?”
Kazuya turn to find Jin looking around the room and turning back to the butler.
“He’s Akanishi Jin! Just don’t mind him!” Jin gasped glaring at the boy.
“Forgive me if I’m being rude but we are in this together I want it end fast!”
“Ahhh!” the butler gasped as he continue staring at the man in suspicion. “Akanishi-sama…”
“Drop the first name thingy just Jin!” Jin smiled at the butler.
“Your room will be by the hall way next to the Kauzya -sama’s room.”
“Thanks!”
“Sylvester-san, would you cook for us? I’m pretty hungry and I miss your corn soup.” Kazuya pouted at his butler and the old man chuckled by his young master childish traits.
“I will!” he grinned.

Jin put down his bags as he roam around the bedroom. The interior look so old but he could see repairs around the ceiling and the door. The guest room bed look grand like a five star hotel and they really look comfortable.
Taking his back he took out all of his clothes wanting to hang them in the wardrobe but something makes him suspicious when he found a small door hiding behind the wardrobe. Before he could walk up to the hidden door, he saw Kazuya standing at the sliding door.
“Are you hungry? Sylvester, made lunch for us? Before we could visit the museum? I thought why don’t we eat first?”
“Sure!”
“Okay!”

They were happily eating their meal when Jin starting to get curious about the door behind the wardrobe.
“Can I ask you something?” Putting the spoon aside as he look at the younger one enjoying eating.
“Sure? What is it?”
“Back in my room behind the wardrobe was it a door, which I just saw?” Jin asked out of curiosity. The butler froze after overheard the man asking a question that not suppose to be questioned.
“Door?” the younger boy puzzled. “I didn’t know there’s a door behind the wardrobe in the guest room?”
“I though t you knew!”
Kazuya turn to his butler fidgeting with the teapot, Kazuya frowned at his butler weird behavior. There’s something secretive about the hidden door.
“Sylvester, do you know there’s a door behind the wardrobe at the guest room?”
“I’m sorry, Kazuya-sama. But I didn’t know there was a door in the guest room.” The butler shook his head and continues his work pouring the empty cup of the two young mans.
“I thought you know about.” The butler gave a smile and nodded like an apology.
“I’m sorry again, Kazuya-sama but don’t you need to go to the museum? The museum will be closing soon?” Kazuya took a peek at his wrist watch and it was 3pm and the museum will be closing in 2 hours. Thank god, the museum was just 5 blocks away from here.
“Oh shit!!” Kazuya cursed.
“What!” Jin asked in confusion.
“We gotta go! The museum will be closing in 2 hours!”
“What are we waiting for?” Jin and Kazuya took their bags, rushing through the doors leaving the butler chuckled at them. “Be careful!” Sylvester shook his head after he overheard bickering at the front gate; no doubt it was loud for the old house.
The butler went inside to the guest room when they have mention about the secret door. Using all his strength he push the wardrobe and there’s the door fully shown. He fished out a key in his pocket and into the keyhole, unlocking it.
Behind those thin doors was an old box that contains pictures. Pictures of Takeshi and Miyoko taken on their engagement day. Sylvester sighed. They really have their features. I hope they are them!
