(no subject)
Last night I got home to find that my sister CLEANED MY KITCHEN! I just about fell over. She's one of the messiest people I've ever met and she decided to straighten up my kitchen, wash the dishes and even empty the dishwasher. DH couldn't believe it either. He even commented about how much more tolerable she's been lately. He went as far to say that he even enjoys her company. Amazing, huh?
This stupid cold is still hanging around. I feel it most late in the evenings and in the mornings, so at least I can somewhat operate during the day.
I have another doctor appointment today. As I've mentioned to some of you, they don't do internal exams so I have no idea if I'm dilated at all. Part of me wants to know if I'm making any progress, but part of me doesn't want to get my hopes up either. Both DH and I have a feeling that I'll go past my due date.
I know this sounds silly but I couldn't be more excited that DH doesn't have a basketball game tonight. He still has practice, but there's no game so we'll actually have part of the evening together at home. I can't wait to have some quiet time with him. We have no big plans for the weekend. We're just planning on packing the hospital bag (I know, that should've been done weeks ago), painting the dresser, and working on the nursery a little more. We'll probably end up running out to pick up some more baby things as I've realized that I still don't have any basic white onesies. Good thing we have lots of gift certificates to use up! Sooooo...bring on the weekend!
