So, I'm back from the middle kingdom! (I was quite charmed to find out that the Traditional Chinese script for china is two characters - "Middle" and "Kingdom" - the name still stands!) Where did you go see?

Beijing is on my list of places I'll probably go see someday, mostly because after the building up around the Olympics, there's probably a lot of cheap hotels and to stay at :)

lemme see . . . Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shanghai, Xitang, Xian, Pingyao and Beijing.

I didn't spend a lot of time in Beijing, though I'd have liked to. Xian was probably the highlight; I could've spent the whole month there, provided I had help getting around!
