I am not an atheist, although, I'm not far from being one. I dislike that term, because generally, the second you use it people translate it into "hater of god" rather than it's untended "non-believer." I don't believe in a god either. When I first told one of my friends that, her reaction was, "What? Lauren, yes you do."

I also have friends that have tried to force their religion on me, or at least give "God" a chance.

There are just so many questions left unanswered -- for me, it's just too hard to believe in something without any proof. Brendan refuted that by saying, "That's why it's a belief." He's right... but there's still just too much that's left unanswered.

Essentially, I totally understand where you're coming from : P I mean, I don't necessisarily agree with everything you said, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion/ belief. Be proud of your beliefs, stand up for your views, and keep an open mind : )
