What is this book about? Is it similar to the best dystopian novels such as Neuromancer, Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, or 1984? Well, probably not, but at least is it half as good - and a mature, R Rated one - or another YA shitty books trying to be edgy by portraying violence for kids?

The protagonist name reminds me of Triss Merigold.

Don't expect such brillance as Brave New World, Neuromancer, Fahrenheit 451, etc. But it's really good compared to the books that get published now or the ones that get called ~dystopian~, it still YA (and it has romance which i did liked but honestly wasn't so fond of, maybe if i re-read it)
I do think it's worth reading.

The plot:
"Future society is divided into five factions: Abnegation (the selfless), Candor (the honest) , Amity (the peaceful), Erudite (the scholarly), and Dauntless (the courageous). Everyone is born into a faction, but during the ceremony of the 16th birth year, citizens can switch and choose the faction where they'll spend their lives."

It centers in Beatrice (Tris) choice, so i won't spoil more than that.
