I had the same problem when I started making gifs lol
so I'm extremely glad I could help (^_^)

another way of making gifs: download camtasia (recorder and studio) or something like it. Record the part of the video you want to make a gif of, click edit (it'll take you to studio) cut out the parts you don't want, save as gif and your done lol XD
you don't have to download videos for this, since camtasia records your desktop.

oh yeah there are multiple ways to make gifs
this is just the way I do it (^_^)
but thank you so much for commenting in case some people don't want/have photoshop (^_^)
