I'm Britney........bitch

Ok, so since none of us over at Revenge of the Gleeks have the time, or the interest, in doing Glee episode review podcasts, I'm going to put my brief thoughts about this Britney focused episode below

Beginning of the episode. Ok, so I missed like the first minute, so I was kinda clueless as to why suddenly everyone was suddenly into Britney. That doesn't really matter, because we soon had the first musical number, Britney (not Spears) singing 'I'm a Slave for You'

my reaction

then some stuff happens, mostly whining I think by Rachel and Will, honestly just shut up I don't care. And Rachel, I think you need to eat some protein that vegan thing makes you look unhealthy. Will be quiet, Emma doesn't need you she has Uncle Jesse

Then there is 'Me Against the Music'

my reaction

then there is Rachel basically showing no character growth, being whiny. Oh yes, Rachel, your boyfriend is totally going to choose you and your bangs over football and not being beat up.

She, predictably gets to sing 'Baby, One More Time', even though it makes no sense for her to do so in the plot. Oh wait this is Glee, ha ha, I forgot they don't need to have plots.

Will is trying to win Emma back, buys a douche car. Terri is randomly in the parking lot. Emma flees, seeing as you know, she has Uncle Jesse (who laughably totally wound Will up).

Kurt is upset they aren't singing Britney, tells Will, what we already know, he is lame.

Then Artie sings Stronger, it isn't half bad, but I don't have a gif reaction to this

Then there is Toxic, which would've been good, if Will wasn't such a creeper. Britney continues to rock the dance moves, she is the only thing that is making this episode worth watching basically.

and then Rachel, get this, gets Quinn (as if hbic would do this for Rachel) to ask Finn if he wants to get back together with her, just to see if he'll accept. I don't know why he doesn't seriously. The character assignation of Rachel so far this season is ridiculous. She's even worse than when we first met her. Then she sings a Paramour song. Really? I thought this was a Britney Spears episode (because Glee doesn't do plot focused episodes it does tribute episodes). Also her speech before, please cue the severe eye rolling. The song is stupid, and it was a horrid way to end the show.

oh Xabi I so agree, your show Dexter is far superior.

Hands up if you think they should've ended with 'Me Against the Music'? y/y

snark, irony, review, glee
