Today I finally took that trip to Aspen. I've lived in Colorado for over 6 years and have yet to make it out to Aspen. I figured that a.) I was too a.) midwestern b.)middle class to enjoy it, which is still true, but I did enjoy it. According to my friend, its less pretentiously rich than Vail, so that was nice. I've never been to Aspen but I've driven from Denver to Telluride through Ouray which is just breathtaking. And I almost hit a black bear on the road which was scary.

And my ex-boyfriend and I laughed forever about driving through the Johnson Tunnel there because we're five. (Seriously, I don't even know how we were allowed to board a plane by ourselves.)

I almost bought a house a few years ago in Denver. Sigh. I wanna go back now... :(

housing market really sucks right now, although if you're a buyer its a fantastic market

"there" is 4 hours away from where I live ;P Colorado is a big state, but so full of beauty. There's so much I still have left to see.
