Ok Ennis I know you liked the blow job from Bill but from your best friend in your entire world and the man you don't mind sleeping with hanging out with and doing everything with. Yeah sex among friends can hurt sometimes but this is a friendship meant for that next step. Joe

Joe, you are so right!

Ennis does not yet have your clarity, though. Jack is the most important person in his world, more important than any girl. And the idea of losing him terrifies Ennis.

He can play around with women and if it doesn't work out, no big deal. But he can't and won't lose Jack!

And he doesn't have a clue ... yet ... that he could maybe keep Jack and have sex with him.

Yes, you would think that after all that experimenting, Ennis might have concluded that he wasn't straight. But, you know, the power of denial...

Well, at the moment, it leaves Jack in a closer friendship with Ennis than he had before, but not in the relationship he'd really like to have.

Oh my, this line had me chuckling......"And they were ... really well aligned." That certainly painted a picture for me. This relationship is getting a little odd.....I'm staying tuned with bated breathe.

Well, what helps make it odd is the closeness of their friendship and Ennis's denial about being anything but straight.

Glad you're gonna stay tuned, though! Because that denial won't last forever :).

I caught up with this.. I love the atmosphere you created - nice and intimate.. They are so natural together.They will sort out their true relationship soon :)

I'm surprised Jack confided in Ennis that he was gay. Although, they do have a very close relationship. And at least Ennis was honest, saying Jack's friendship meant more to him then fooling around and stuff.

For some reason, I am just seeing this in my email.

Well, Jack tells Ennis everything. They always have. So even though he hesitated a bit at first, I think Jack knew he'd tell him sooner or later. And I think he figured after that display of interest ;), he better cough it up!

Ennis was as honest as he is currently capable of being and Jack's friendship means everything to him.

But if he were able to be completely honest, he'd admit that the idea that he, himself, might not be straight scares the hell out of him and that the person he's most interested in protecting is himself.

He doesn't even know all of that, though ... yet :).
