I wish I could help you. I wrote in a journal three times a week for most of sophomore year. At the end of the year, the 200 pages taught me nothing about myself, except that I had wasted countless hours in a futile effort trying to cope with the emotional rollercoaster that I had absoloutely no control over by breaking down day into aspects of 'good' and 'bad'
(I also had detailed lists of all of the girls with whom I'd crossed 2nd base, rated from 1-10)
That summer after senior year through being a first semester freshman (not to mention the entire year after college) were kind of like that too. not much we can do about it, but try not to take it personally.
