It all started with a simple invitation for a morning walk…
“Wing, would you like to join us for our walk?” Megan pounced onto Wing in the kitchen.
“Walking? I don`t like walkin-,“ Wing was cut off by Kyuhyun`s loud voice.
“MEGAN, HURRY UP, I`M DYING HERE.”
“Come on, Wing! It`ll be fun~ you can bring Donghae oppa too!” Megan pulled Wing into the foyer. Much to Wing`s surprise, Donghae was already standing beside Kyuhyun and holding Wing`s flats.
Wing sighs, “Fine.”

“I`m hot.” Kyuhyun rasps while making a fan-like gesture with his hands.
“I know you ar-,” Again, Wing was interrupted.
“Don`t say it!” Megan giggles, placing her index finger to her lips.
The sun was shining brightly down on the two couples as they trod happily on the dull sidewalk. Donghae was staring intently down at the cracks engraved in the marble, catching Wing`s attention. Wing notices that Donghae was strangely quiet, and laughs when she sees her boyfriend`s stern face.
“Hae, what are you looking at?” Wing continues to laugh, sputtering out words that are barely understandable.
“The cracks,” Hae continues bore holes into the gaps in the ground, “I mean, how did they get there?”
“Well,” Kyuhyun speaks up and pretends to push up his ‘invisible’ glasses, “They could have been created by cracks in plates that have surfaced up to this point of severity…or some obese person could have just fallen on that particular spot.” Kyuhyun flashes his signature snarky grin.
Donghae`s eyes flared in amazement as his dongsaeng out-smarted him…again. Not like it was really hard to begin with.
“So that means Megan pretty much fell here~” Wing teases her friend and hugs Megan tightly.
“Yep, I`d believe so.” Kyuhyun lets out a low-pitched chuckle.
“Guys! That`s so mean! ~ I don`t love you guys anymore.” Megan breaks out of Wing`s hug and crosses her arms, face pouting.
“Okay, fine with us~” Wing and Kyuhyun sing while linking arms at the same time.
Megan gasps, “You guys were planning this all along! That`s not fair! It`s two versus one!”
Kyuhyun and Wing both smirk before breaking apart and returning to their lover. It`s 1:OO PM and the sun is at its climax, the temperature at 29 degrees Celsius.
“Hae, I`m tired, let`s take a break - there are many benches!” Wing pulls on Hae`s sleeve and pulls a pouty face. Hae struggles not to give in and turns away, only to turn around, pick up Wing, and place her on a sidewalk bench.
Kyuhyun and Megan laugh as they walk over and Megan sits down beside Wing, smiling.
Wing eyes Megan, then Kyuhyun, then finally, her boyfriend, Donghae. She stands up and laces her hands in between Hae`s.
“Hae, let`s go look at the flowers, they`re so pretty!” Wing drags Donghae to the flower garden nearly seven metres away from the bench.
“Wing, honey, you hate flowers.” Donghae says confusingly, head cocked slightly to the left.
“I don`t anymore, now let`s go!” Wing forces the words through her teeth and tries to remain calm, pulling Hae with her to the buds.

Kyuhyun sits beside Megan and stares blankly in front of him.
“Kyuhyunnie, are you okay?” Megan places her hand on his arm, revealing a worried face, “Is the heat getting to you?”
Kyuhyun gulps, “No, I`m fine.”
Megan removes her hand and places it on her lap. There`s an awkward silence surrounding the couple.
Kyuhyun abruptly stands up and starts breathing deeply, “Megan, do you know what`s so great about walks?”
“N-no.”
“It`s because there are sidewalks. Now do you know what`s so great about sidewalks?”
“N-no.”
“It`s because there are sidewalk benches. And do you know what`s so perfect about sidewalk benches?”
“Kyuhyun, are you going somewhere with this? Because you know I`m not that great with riddles!”
“…It`s because there`s a great environment to propose in.”
Kyuhyun falls down to one knee and fishes out a Tiffany box. He opens the box to reveal a glistening wedding ring made out of complete turquoise - Megan`s birthstone.
“Will you marry me?”

“Jeesh, Hae. Why couldn`t your proposal be as romantic as Kyu`s?” Wing sighs, but leans her head onto Donghae`s shoulders anyways.
Donghae smiles, and shuts up his girlfriend with a kiss.
