Guarantee on life

I was sitting and thinking about how we are just animals that were grown from the primordial stews of our planet. Its funny when you think about it, our "fingernails" are really just claws. Claws of a wild animal ( Read more... )

So i posted this once and went back and read it. Shit! realized i just slammed danced a bunch of ideas into one paragraph. I went back and broke up each idea so its easier to follow. They all seemed to flow together in my head, but talking to yourself is never the same on paper.

hallalujah and amen!

i can understand and agree with everything you say, except i could add onto the part about how we all plan for the future like we're sure it's going to be there. i think that is still a part of our animal instinct. we are blindly following it, it's all we know how to do. plan ahead to insure survival. . . I guess i wouldn't say that assumption is the mother of all fuck ups. actually i don't really think there are any fuck ups. . . hmm

i think the fact that we plan as though we are going to be here forever makes perfect sense, and doesn't necessarily highlight the problem ( ... )

yah i wouldnt say the planning ahead part is a problem.
we're def on the same page about all of this for the most part though.
i would also say that we forget that we are only animals and have this god complex.
i suppose a lot of this comes across as negative. i can't decide how i feel about it all. it kind of leaves me feeling empty. . . bc i know there really is no point REALLY. i mean on some levels you could argue there is. but, like bobby said, make the best of our time while were here. . . the problem with that is i cant really find my passion, what really does make it all worth it.

I was thinking about similar things today when I was looking out my window at all the geese near my schools pond...they looked so happy just being geese. They don't fight and kill and strive to grow economically. Life is funny.

i think they do, just on a different level. if there were too many geese, they would fight for territory, for resources.
there's just way too many people and we're way too clever, we're doing more or the less the same thing as other animals, just in a more complicated, elaborate way.
p.s.
it makes me giggle to think about you looking at happy geese

Speaking of geese, you know theyre going to 'get rid' of the geese on our pond tam? Turns out having 8437582798439 geese in one small area isnt good cause theyre polluting alot more than just the water theyre swimming in. I have no idea how they plan on getting rid of all these geese, but theyre going to do it.

I'm here today, but maybe gone tomorrow so i'm gonna make the best of it while i can.

that would be nice wouldn't it?
unfortunately our complex ways of modern society sometimes (or all too often for me at least) allow us to lose sight of that goal.
