1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I had a baby! Micah is adorable and healthy and HILARIOUS.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Mine was to have better skin care and to also wear makeup more often. I have only recently starting wearing eye makeup and gloss/lipstick to work, and I have gotten some FABU organic facial scrubs/masks from john, and I plan to use them! For this upcoming year, it's to do better w/my finances and to learn meditation.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes - me! Also my friend (and manager) Anna gave birth to a baby girl, Elizabeth.

John's uncle Ronnie

The good ol' U.S. of A...
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Peace of mind

3-13-09 - Micah's birthday
July of '09 - my horrible experiences at groomer's academy in pensacola

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Micah. That's one's a given! Other than that, it's becoming a groomer and LOVING it!

My financial downfall

MAJOR post-c-section trauma and disaster
11. What was the best thing you bought?
JEANS IN A SIZE SMALLER. seriously! it made me SO FREAKIN' GLAD to not be pregnant anymore... i missed my JEANS!!!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
John's!!! He has had the most craptastic year of anyone i know, in ANY year of their lives, and yet he's still fighting the good fight! That's not to say he doesn't "queen out" or have a meltdown (like me)... he definitely does that... but he is still strong and determined.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Sister Mary Seton. Laying off a teacher with a newborn... give me a break!!! Family-friendly my ASS!
14. Where did most of your money go?
House payment, power bills, and insurance. Oh!!! Strike that - to medical bills from the c-section. After that, probably to freakin' mcdonald's!
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Becoming a groomer. And Micah laughing. And getting Lady Gaga cd's for Christmas.

17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? both - polarized emotions, you could say
b) thinner or fatter? since i was pregnant last year, thinner! ;) check THAT out! haha

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Doing things around the house to help John out. And spending more time w/Dashley.

Eating fast food!

With my son! <3
23. What was your favorite TV program?
TRUE BLOOD!!!!!!! And Craig Ferguson. I would watch it late at night (when it comes on - freaking MIDNIGHT!) when micah would wake up for a feeding and i got hooked on it! too bad i can never stay up long enough to watch it now!
24. What was the best book you read?
Hungry by Crystal Renn (one of the ONLY books I read, lol! But still deserving of "best" title)

28. What did you want and then get?
A son. And Lady Gaga cd's, lol
29. What did you want and not get?
More money. And my old Accord. Not that I will ever get it back, at least not that EXACT vehicle (that would be crazy-unlikely), but MAN i wish i had that car back!! Wish I'd never sold it!!
30. What was your favorite film of this year?
AVATAR!!!!! And I Love You, Man. (I think that came out in '09...)
31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I actually can't even remember, lol. But I was 26. I know it wasn't drinking! Cause I was preggo.
32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Having more time to watch movies w/john (and staying AWAKE for them!)
33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
JEANS, JEANS, JEANS!!!! Also my strappy tank-tops (actually maternity tops) and my work pants.... practically lived in those! When your work clothing consists of a specified uniform, that's all you ever wear.
34. What kept you sane?
Medication. And John.
35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
LADY GAGA - was there any doubt??? Also OBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
Obama's inauguration!!!!!!! Woo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
37. Who did you miss?
The G's and my Grandma. I wish she could have met John and Micah.
38. Who was/were the best new person(s) you met?
Andrea, my physical therapist (she's also my doctor's sister). I think she will be someone who motivates and inspires me for a long time.
39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009:
Appreciate the quiet times, because they are rare. Appreciate time alone, for that becomes more and more rare. And enjoy your children while they are young b/c GOSH do they grow fast!! Also, don't spend money on stupid sh*t you don't need!!!!!
