Well, it's 8AM and I have yet to go to bed....had a very good conversation with Erin til bout 11:30 then went down to C-1 to hang with some cool cats...and marc (j/k)...watched Chasing Amy and Galaxy Quest (both fine movies) and during galaxy quest both marc and ryan fell asleep while I stayed awake. yeah, don't do it, no one here wants you to die, eventhough I now have to watch the globes by myself. Anyways, Translation was awesome. What did you think of Mystic?

Loved Mystic River....but It really didnt hit me on an emotional level. Great acting, great writing, great directing, but it just didnt connect with me--like LOTR or even Big Fish. Wanna see Lost in Translation...soon. Maybe next weekend or something. Later.

Yeah, my reaction was similar. I really connected with the idea of loss and how it begets more loss and the theme of lost innocence that permeates itself down through the generations. Tim Robbins and Sean Penn just won Golden Globes for their performances. Awesome awesome. See ya soon.
