Resolutions

I don't normally make new year resolutions but I've decided to make a few this year!

1. Make more of an effort to learn french.....more reading and listening (and speaking if I find a "french speaking victim". )

2. Read at least one Dicken's novel.   I read " a Tale of two cities" years ago and loved it but have never got around to reading any

Dickens is hilarious, real laugh out loud funny writing.

hmmm....not sure I believe you sirroy! I tried Bleak House and it was neither hilarious nor laugh out loud, although I really enjoyed the bbc drama of same.
Maybe you could suggest one for me?

Hard Times is hilarious. (Although if you didn't get the humour in Bleak House you may struggle again!)
