I laughed when i was told that a friend of mine freaked out when she found out that she had a skeleton when she was little, even though she was little at the time. But the more i thought about that, the more i realized that it really is weird to know that your body is composed of different tissues and bone matter. I know what you're feeling. Everyone's an arrogant asshole, when you get right down to it, because even the humblest of humans believe that they're the most important thing in the world. Sigh. We could never stand to realize that we are nothing, absolutely nothing in the space of existence. Ever read Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy? There's this device, see, called the Total Perspective Vortex. It's best explained by Wikipedia:

Comment whore. I want to read the Hitchhiker's Guide books, even though the idea of an infinite universe doesn't melt my brain. I already know that in a world of just 6 billion people, I am insignificant.
