I am not a political scientist or a pollster. I have no advanced degrees that give me the authority to appear on a nightly news show and make that statement. The statement is true nonetheless. Rick Santorum is not going to be elected President.

I'm sorry to disagree with you , but Santorum is in fact the inevitable result of our modern republic (not a democracy, we're too big to be a democracy, we've never been a democracy and we never will be one either). In a market that demands that there be content to fill not one, but half a dozen 24 hour "news" channels, myriad traditional publications, and untold numbers of blogs and new media, there will always be a platform for men like him
