I seriously thought about transferring at the beginning of the semester.

I don't know if taking time off would really help me.

I'm sure I'd just find a way to waste the time.

Honestly, Amherst can be a pretty miserable place. Even if you spend your time off doing absolutely nothing, it might be good just to get away from here for a while. Or maybe you can do study abroad?
