My vacation to Ireland is completed! I had a very good time. I'm not a big fan of post-mortem vacation discussions, so I'm not going to write one up now. I figure people might be interested in the food we ate, so I'll post that soon -- a lot of it was very good.

Was the one of the bridge (it the green lights under it) an hdr shot or shopped? It's so perfectly beautiful.

It was dusk, done by hand, no digital edits. I took it about 13 times to get it right.

The trick is the "death grip"; wrapping the camera's strap around your hand very tautly so that the camera is in only one hand, then using a remote in the other hand to trigger the shot (that is, if you're not out sight-seeing with a tri- or monopod, which I definitely was not).
