summer in northern ontario is bear-able

Two days ago, in the early afternoon, I was sitting in the dining room with my laptop, when I noticed a black bear loping across our front lawn, followed by two cubs. By the way that screen type structure might hide the bin from passersby, but the bears will find it! :-D

Definitely a northern Ontario experience. Right up there with daring somebody to lick the flagpole when it's -30 Celsius.

Bears have a good sense of scent, so it's hard to fool them. :)
