Thursday: 8 miles
Friday: rest
Saturday: 8.2 miles
Sunday: 16.4 miles (my longest run yet!)

Total: 41.3 miles!! :)

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER???

I had to taper this week for the half marathon today. Here is my running schedule for the past week:

Tuesday: 3.5 miles
Wednesday: 3 miles
Thursday: 2 miles
Today: 13.1 miles

Total: 21.6 miles

It's on to marathon training...

My half marathon today was AMAZING!!! I ran a 10 mile race that I was happy with on August 2, with a time of 1:59:57. My goal time was between 2:00 and 2:10. I ran a half marathon on Aug. 26 that I was not so happy with... happy to finish, but not happy with the fact that I didn't make it running. I walked a LOT. Only my day actually went really well. :)

So. When gymnastics started last week, I knew about the new code of points. I wasn't particularly in favor of it, but I had seen it used and understood the concept.
