In my opinion tablets and laptops are different advises with different functions and they should not be combined. Everybody has own preferences and and if he/she decides to use easy device like tablet will not need laptop functions in it. The same is with laptops, if people prefer more combined devices like laptops they don't need tablet functions in it. Sylwia

I think that the tablet windows produced is too much for people's liking. There is also no excuse for it that "Ipad is more known" actaully Windows is as well known if not almost as known as Apple. Also Windows tablets if merged with the computer program would make the tablet un comfy to type with. Im not sure why but I think it would so yeah....

I agree with you about that, but I must say that windows is even more knowable then Apple for my opinion. I think that both of theses companies are really good

I agree that if Windows tablets are less know then Apple it doesn't mean that they are worse in functioning. I can also agree that maybe typing on iPad/tablets which would have computer program on them will make it much easier. However, in my opinion, we should still have laptops and iPads/tablets as a separate devices. This will give wide options to people and will let them choose what's the easier and most comfortable to use. Since everybody has their own preferences, some people would like more to work with iPads/tablets, and some with laptops. Sylwia

I think that laptops, computers and tablets shouldn't be mixed, because it's too complicated. Each of them should have their own functions. Some of them are different some of them are the same, but they shouldn't be the same thing.
Desktop/tablet/mobile OS and their merge tendencies1raboMarch 19 2015, 16:57:59 UTC
I believe that merge tendencies among companies are caused by today's culture. In my opinion, users would be more fond of technology if the companies manage to merge operating systems into a single platform.

I will have to disagree with that point of view because as if technology doesn't have enough flaws already.Merging to operating systems will cause many more problems in operating software systems. There must have been a reason for having two different operating systems for different devices and it is not likely that idea just came out of the blue.Having two separate operating systems is something that has been making sense for the past few years and its not like it stopped making sense now.One reason for combining operating systems may be because nothing new has appeared in many years but new doesn't always mean better.
