"I reckon if some girl with a large bust walked by, he wouldn't notice." James muttered to some random fourth year boy who laughed as he made his way out of the common room.
Wondering what in the world his friend could be doing, James crossed his arms over his chest and watched his friend for a moment or two with interest. He couldn't think of a time really where he had seen Sirius like this..Sitting down..Quietly.
Better not disturb him, right?
Actually, it might've been interesting to do so..But James thought otherwise as he watched his friend stare off into space.
Sitting with one leg crossed over the other, Keda was moving the feathered end quill back and forth over her cheek again. A pattern that clearly indicated she was thinking. Sighing, her eyes rose the the paper and she put her reading glasses up on her head. She glanced around the common-room.
There were a couple of the fourth-year boys in the common room. One was staring out in space, and the other was tentatively watching his friend. Raising an eyebrow, Keda decided to break the silence.
"I'm not sure which is weirder, the fact that your friend is being silent and not gawking in the girls dorm doorways, or the fact that you've been watching him for quite a few minutes without throwing something at him." Keda said with a smile, to indicate her comments were light-hearted.
"Attractive." Keda stated, clearly disgusted by the younger boy's actions.
She returned routeinly to the letter she had been writing. After a few more flicks of the feather against her cheek, an inspiration hit her. Soon she was scratching away rapidly at the parchment in her lap.
Kingsley walked in through the portrait, eyes scanning his copious potions notes. He looked up and saw Sirius. All he could think to do upon seeing Sirius in his trance was shake his head, shoving back regrets of boxing the kid's ears 10 too many times in 3rd year.
Kingsley tensly settled into a chair, ready for the anything that Sirius was so obviously plotting.
James laughed at the girl's comments before staring at Sirius as he so amazing seemed to jump out of his trance. "Wicked." He managed to say at the same time as the older student went "Attractive."
"Do you guys ever stop being gross?" Alice asked stepping into the common room.
She had a book bag slung over her left shoulder and a large ivy in her right hand. She quicly placed the Ivy near a window and sat down next to the boys, laying her book bag on the floor
At the sound of another feminie voice Keda looked up again from her writing. Seeing a girl she knew to be on the Quidditch team she tried to recall the girls name, Allison? Alice!
"They carry a y chromosome, of course they never stop being gross." Keda said as if stating the most obvious fact in the world.
